The Spring of Life (formerly the Gillette Flats Spring) has been given a new lease on life! The State of Colorado was just days from closing the spring down for good when a local church stepped up to answer the call. Faith Fellowship told the State that it was a "no-brainer" and that the church would love to step in to fill the void. Pastor Brian Cooper said, "Our church is small, but we want to help in any way that we can. This was a very clear need in our community, and we are honored to be a part of the continuing legacy of the beauty in this great area of God's Country."
Donations are not required, but are greatly appreciated. Because of Colorado's complicated water regulations, all the water used must be reimbursed by the church, through the water department of the City of Cripple Creek. 100% of all donations go towards paying for the water. If donations ever exceed the actual cost of the water, the proceeds will go to the food bank.
